Our Stone Legacy

National Mining Corporation Plc was founded on March 18, 1993 by Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amudi. Ethio-Libya was transferred from the government to the National Mining Corporation on the same day. The company was established as National Mining Corporation Private Share Company by Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi and Sheikh Hassan Hussein Ali Al-Amudi in 1996.

On March 1, 2015, we acquired the state-owned Ethiopian Marble Processing Enterprise through a competitive bid. Our paid-up capital has grown significantly from Birr 43 million in 1994 to Birr 213 million today, reflecting our sustained growth and market confidence.
